Welcome to Bel and the Dragon Godalming

Formerly a congressional church this beautiful building stood unused for over twenty years until sympathetically renovated to house Bel and The Dragon Godalming. Care has been taken to retain original open beams, windows and pews throughout the restaurant and bar to create a welcoming atmosphere full of character. From the cosy seating around our open fire to our galleried mezzanine, the view will always be spectacular. On warmer days our pretty walled garden provides the perfect place to linger. Godalming is situated in some of the finest countryside in southern England. It contains narrow attractive streets, lined with many ancient and historic buildings, and lies alongside the River Wey. It is midway between London and the south coast and both are easy to reach by public and private transport.
