Located in the heart of this Surrey market town, 4 miles south of Guildford and a short stroll from the River Wey, Bel & The Dragon Godalming, is a vibrantly atmospheric restaurant and bar.

Formerly a congressional church this historic building was originally converted to a bar and restaurant in the late 1990’s. Its most recent makeover masterminded by designer Nicola Harding has resulted in a spectacular new interior which oozes sophistication and offers an array of flexible spaces for eating and drinking - whether its a morning coffee in our sunny garden, cocktails at the bar or private dining in the gallery.

Head Chef Mo Benassar and Group Head Chef Ronnie Kimbugwe, formerly Sous Chef of Gordon Ramsay at Claridges have worked together to create menus which boast the best in modern British cuisine, using only the freshest seasonal produce, sourced locally and cooked in full view of diners… adding a touch of culinary theatre!

Irresistible home baked cakes, pastries and other sweet treats are also available throughout the day from our wonderful bakery counter – take away or enjoy in our relaxed surroundings whilst browsing the newspapers or taking advantage of the free WiFi internet access.

At the bar cocktails are high on the agenda with an impressive list to choose from but equally as tempting is our show-stopping selection of wines from around the world including some of the very best vintages of fine and rare wines at amazing prices.
